Great run for Goethes FAUST (April 17, 2017)
A fulminant opening night and solid booked performances mark Goethes FAUST 1 in Stuttgart clearly a success. A challenging evening for all actors involved Nicole has also ample opportunity to show off her acting skills. Portraying different characters from a creepy artificial witch via a young male yuppie student, to an old woman in a wheelchair in quick succession followed by a young sexy witch her incredible range is fun to watch. FAUST will be at the Old Playhouse Stuttgart until April, 29th, 2017.

After Shakespeare now Goethe (February 12, 2017)
Nicole Lowan keeps busy with classics. After Shakespeare and his Macbeth now comes the German poet Goethe and his play FAUST 1. With british director Ryan McBryde and a unique concept Nicole starts rehearsals in Stuttgart. Opening night is March 24th at the Old Playhouse Stuttgart.

Macbeth gone wrong - Macdeth! in London (August 25, 2016)
Nicole Lowan plays in London in the comedy "Macdeth!". Subtitled "Macbeth gone wrong" this new interpretation of Shakespeares' famous play is a black comedy with typical british humour.
Lowan leads through the play as the infamous witch with a twitch. Venue: The Cockpit, Gateforth St, Marylebone and Kings Head Theatre, 115 Upper Street, Islington (Director: Ryan J.-W.Smith)
And later in September Nicole returns to the original and resumes her part as Lady Macbeth on stage in Germany.

Fighting for Macbeth (May 24, 2016)
Final days for Macbeth. Shakespeares emotional tragedy will be opening this saturday, May, 28th, with Nicole Lowan as unbending Lady Macbeth. Lowan is also responsible for all choreographies of the fighting scenes. Macbeth is most suitable to honor Shakespeares year of death, a dense piece of work with some of his most poetical texts.
A lady for Macbeth (February 24, 2016)
Nicole Lowan returns in Shakespeares' Macbeth to rural Scotland.
Lowan plays the part of Lady Macbeth in this bloody tragedy of a kings career. The play is directed by Andreas Wiedermann and opening night is at the end of May.

Arts project "open worlds" (July 13, 2015)
Nicole Lowan is part of a nationwide project in Germany titled "arts open worlds". A mixed group of multicultural artists are developing and presenting different cultural pieces of work. In the ongoing work Nicole Lowan is directing and acting coach in various filmproject
"The Great Gatsby" returns on stage (May 6, 2015)
In November 2015 the roaring twenties return to stage with Nicole Lowan reprising her role as Jordan Baker. Due to a very successful tour in 2014  F. Scott Fitzgerald's story of the mysterious Mr. Gatsby reopens on November, 20th. The production will be touring again throughout Germany and Switzerland and runs until shortly before Christmas.

A daughter for "King Lear" (April 26, 2014)
Nicole Lowan is currently rehearsing for a production of "King Lear" at the National Theatre Meiningen. In Shakespeare's tragedy about a powerful man's demise and maelstrom of affliction she is Goneril, one of his three daughters. The play is directed by Murat Yeginer and opening night is May, 16th, 2014.

"The Great Gatsby" successful on tour (March 10, 2014)
Nicole Lowan relives the Roaring Twenties in a theatreproduction of "The Great Gatsby".
With F.Scott Fitzgerald's book brought to life on stage the production is currently touring with great success throughout Germany. The show runs until April, 13th.

New degree in Karate (December 8, 2012)
Nicole Lowan passed on 1st of December 2012 successfully an exam for the 3rd degree black belt in Karate.

Theatre play at the Old Playhouse Stuttgart (March 14, 2012)
After filming the family drama "Mother China" Nicole Lowan goes back to the theatre stage.
From March 2012 she can be seen in the satirical play "Be quiet, boy" by Fitzgerald Kusz at the Old Playhouse Stuttgart. "Be quiet, boy", or "Confirmation party", is a funny-satirical study of a typical, petty bourgeois family celebration centered around a confirmation. Opening night is March, 16th 2012.

Post production status for Canadian film "Mother China" (February 19, 2012)
After several months of shooting principal photography for the Canadian film production "Mother China" is finished. With last sequences shot in January and February 2012 the film has now entered post production status.

Leading part in Canadian film production (April 19, 2011)

In a Canadian film production Nicole Lowan is cast as one of the five main characters. Working title for the family drama is "Mother China". Nicole plays a young language teacher who is torn between her love for China and her life in Canada which forces her to deal with her unsolved family situation. The story takes place in Vancouver, B.C. and start of principal photography is planned for September 2011.

Scene work with Larry Moss (December 12, 2010)

Nicole Lowan works together with acting coach Larry Moss in a scene study intensive. In a scene of the play "Proof" by David Auburn she portrays the highly gifted, but slightly astable younger sister Catherine, who has taken care of her mentally ill father, a former brilliant mathematician. Larry Moss has worked with oscar winning and nominated actors such as Helen Hunt, Leonardo di Caprio and Hilary Swank.

Shakespeare Intensive: Portraying Isabella in Measure for Measure (December 11, 2010)

Together with the Shakespeare Centre Vancouver and Molly Lyons from Seattle, WA., Nicole Lowan takes part in a Shakespeare intensive. In different sessions Shakespeare´s play "Measure for Measure" is examined and worked on. Nicole Lowan is Isabella, who fights for her brothers life and against the immoral offer from governor Angelo.

Since the beginning of the year 2010 Nicole Lowan works at a notable acting school in Vancouver as acting and singing Instructor. John Robert Powers is an established company with a wide experience in the areas of acting and modeling and branches throughout North America.


Nicole Lowan played the lead role in a shortfilm by Nathaniel Geary (director) and Rebecca Fisseha (writer).

Working title: Iris and the Discovery Channel.

Currently Nicole Lowan participates in an 80 minutes comedic documentary about environmental problems called "How to Boil a Frog". The shooting for the staged scenes takes place in and around Vancouver.

On March, 20th, the local theatre community of Vancouver presented with "Wintergarten Cabaret Deux"  an evening in the style of the twenties. In the mixed program Nicole Lowan worked together with members of the Genus theatre company. They performed songs with multicultural background at the sold-out venue ANZA-Club.

At the moment Nicole Lowan is preparing new projects in Vancouver, Canada. Such as being a part of the events around the Olympic winter games 2010. The winter games take place from february 12th till 28th.

In May '09 Nicole Lohfink had a sport accident.Thereby she received a knee injury that unfortunately forced her to pause her work on stage. 

A sold out opening night ensures popularity of "Cleansed" by Sarah Kane. Since the end of march the show runs successfully at the Bavarian National Theatre in Munich. In the play (director: Andreas Wiedermann) Nicole Lohfink portrays "Grace".

In spring '09 Nicole Lohfink is playing at the Bavarian National Theatre in Munich in the play "Cleansed" by Sarah Kane. Opening night is March 22nd, venue "Marstall".

"Ribs / Walls" is the title of a new play by kroatian author Ivana Sajko in which Nicole Lohfink appears as a captive fighting a duell of minds with her gaoler. Opening night is November the 27th at the Tams theatre Munich.


The social spot "surprise - 60 years human rights" will be on air in decembre 08 in 23 countries of the EU.


From September 08 Nicole Lohfink is working at the Theatre "Altes Schauspielhaus/ Komödie im Marquart" in Stuttgart. There she plays a main character in the debut performance of a new play by Felix Huby.

Opening night was september the 19th and was sold out.

Since March 08 Nicole Lohfink appears in "Incendies" by Wajdi Mouawad at the National Theatre Darmstadt. 

Successful opening evening was march 29th, venue "Kleines Haus".

At the hessonian days of theatre 2007 Nicole Lohfink won the award for the best upcoming actor for her role of Elisabeth in Horvaths "Faith, Love, Hope" (director: Titus Georgi, Stadttheater Giessen)
